3 years agoHi everybody, I just picked up an HP ProBook 4540s at a great price. Everything works great with it except the HD camera in FaceTime. I can use the camera in other applications like Skype and Photo Booth (provided that I open Photo Booth first.... strange). But everytime that I try to open FaceTime, the camera instantly freezes. Unfortunately, I have received one of the Hp ProBooks that do not have a serial number under USB in About This Mac-System Information. No known fixes for use of camera. But my question is: Is it possible for me to get and swap in a model camera type from the HP ProBooks that DO work?
